2024 DeKrey Family Reunion

Mark your calendars and make plans to attend! The 2024 DeKrey Family Reunion will be held July 13th & 14th at the Bismarck Ramada Hotel. So, come have a great time, renew family ties, and celebrate 120 years of Rokus de Kreij’s descendants.

Tentative Schedule
Saturday July 13, 2024

• 9:00 to 11:30 AM
  Registration, (pick up your name badge, schedule and shirts)
• Lunch time
  Join the family at Sertoma Park, Shelter number 7 which is near the Dakota Zoo. Plan to bring a meal for your family and we will eat together. Afterwards enjoy the time at the park (playground), a riverboat ride, the zoo, or amusement park.
• 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM
  Supper, for those who paid for the meal, (Pasta Buffet & Chicken Fingers as a child’s meal.) If you are vegetarian, please make a note on the registration so we can accommodate you.
• 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM
  Family group pictures.
• 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM
  Come prepared to share family anecdotes and photos.

• 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM
  Breakfast on your own. Ramada Hotel has a restaurant on site
• 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM
  Church Service, Memorial recognition, and an offering for the Malcolm church
• 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM
  Family Pictures and motel checkout
• 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM
  Dinner for those who paid for a meal (Roast Sirloin of Beef and Chicken Fingers as a child’s meal). Again, indicate if you need a vegetarian meal.
• 1:00 PM
  Farewell to family and recognition of those who made this year’s reunion possible.

We are again offering Reunion Shirts. Our logo is shown above. They will be forest green in color with white lettering. The shirts must be pre-ordered – no extras will be available – so send your registration form and payment to Diane Krupke before June 3, 2024.

The Ramada Hotel has a block of rooms set aside for us; call 1 (701) 258-7000 as soon as possible and reference the DeKrey Reunion. The cost should be $109 per night.

Registration for this event is $25 per family. This money is used to cover the general expenses of our gathering, including printing, postage, meeting rooms, sound equipment, and other incidentals. Also please consider eating with us at the Hotel as we were required to guarantee a minimum number of meals.
